Refresh old laptops and desktops with Linux Mint

Maybe you've got an old laptop that takes ages to boot up. Or is riddled with malware. Or you've forgotten the login credentials and can't recover them.

Or maybe, especially with COVID-19, you need to repurpose a bit of hardware to help with your kids' home schooling.

A nothing ventured nothing gained option might be to try and install Linux Mint, which is a freely available open source operating system, which does many of the things you can do on a Mac or a PC. The video below shows you how to install the software give old hardware a minty refresh.

If having watched this you really want to try it out, but find I've not explained it well enough, get in touch with me, or leave a comment on the Miggle One You Tube channel and I'll see if I'm able to help.
